I have a strong connection to both nature and technology. To me, sound waves are elements of nature similar to wind, rain or sunlight. The AKG 420 headphones used on the sculpture was my first pair of headphones. I used them a lot until they were broken and not able to make any sound. In this project, I repaired the headphones, and use Arduino to make them "alive". I gave them a "skin" from resin, salt and tree bark, a "body" of welted steel. The sculpture interacts with the audiences to explore the playfulness of a sculpture and the poetic side of technology.
